Dr. Lillo has lived in the East Valley since the age of 2. He graduated from Mesa High School, Arizona State University, and then went on to medical School at the A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in Kirksville, Missouri. Following his doctorate, he did a rotating internship at Phoenix General Hospital, and entered private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona where he has been ever since.

Dr. Lillo currently is Board Certified in Family Practice, Clinical Lipidology, and is also a Certified Principal Investigator. He has become a Fellow of the National Lipid Association, and the Association of Physicians in Clinical Research.

Dr. Lillo has a true passion for medicine, and in addition to his private practice, he runs a clinical research site two days a week, lectures in the cardiovascular arena, and now has more than 12 publications in cardiovascular research and therapy. He has served as Chairman of the Department of Family Practice at Honor Health Osborne, and Tempe St. Luke’s. In addition to multiple volunteer positions over the years, he currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Southwest Chapter of the National Lipid Association, dedicated to the treatment of cholesterol related disorders.

Dr. Lillo enjoys high intensity exercise, reading, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also dedicates his spare time to the care of the severely disabled, in particular those with traumatic brain injuries.
