Dr. Leszkowitz is board certified in Addiction Medicine and Family Medicine and has served his community in Michigan for over 30 years. Dr. Leszkowitz founded White Lake Family Medicine, a practice that offers primary care alongside comprehensive behavioral health services, including substance use disorder treatment (SUD) and medication assisted treatment (MAT). Dr. Leszkowitz also works for several FQHCs in the Detroit area where he developed telehealth protocols for MAT.
He has held positions as chief of hospital medical departments, including his current role as Chair of Family Medicine at Pontiac General Hospital, Director of in- and out-patient substance use disorder clinics, and medical educator. Dr. Leszkowitz is clinical faculty at several medical schools, including Michigan State University, lecturer in the field of addiction medicine, and an active mentor with the American College of Addiction Psychiatry’s Providers Clinical Support System.
